Information for Patients Undergoing Surgery

Patients who have scheduled surgery are strongly encouraged to complete an animated, online educational program called Emmi. Emmi helps patients understand how to prepare for surgery, explains what the procedure entails, and what to expect after surgery. Patients can access Emmi from any computer at www.my-emmi.com before their procedure and also during the recovery process. Our Surgical Scheduler will provide patients with their username and password that is required to access the program.

Please remember to notify our office of any pertinent information that has changed since your initial visit, including changes in insurance coverage, address and phone number changes, and health and prescription updates. If you experience an injury at work or you are involved in a motor vehicle accident, be sure to let our office staff know when you book your appointment, even if you’ve been seen previously in our office.
